Automated Inspection
BuildIT's team creates customized software related to your metrology needs. As a separate application, Automated Inspection uses Build!IT for metrology and geometry computation. As a simplified user interface to the metrology process, it is targeted to users who are not metrology experts, but operators. The Automated Inspection process is self-contained and applies automatic error checking and validation in order to provide a robust and resilient shop-floor solution.
This will reduce your man-power and man-hours and allow you to simplify the execution of your process providing advanced results. Once your inspection process starts it will follow through until a report is generated and the information is downloaded into your quality management database. BuildIT gives real-time, color-coded offsets that are very useful for assembly and reports.
In one click, you can activate multiple functions and automatically get feedback to your manufacturing software which will be displayed directly on your interface. This translates to:
- Increasing production and insuring repeatability of your process by encapsulating it in your customized user interface
- Hiding the complexity of the metrology software to make an operator perform inspections with as little as 4 hours of training, with minimal metrological background.
Measurement-Assisted Assembly
BuildIT offers Metrology Assisted Assembly (MAA) as an extra add-on to the automated inspection application. Instead of not knowing if your part is in tolerance or not; Build!IT uses your current portable CMM to adjust the assembled part to its proper position while it is being inspected. It will guide the user for assembly tasks by displaying clear indications as how to move a detail to make it within tolerance.
Build!IT will integrate model quality control solutions into the assembly process, creating an environment and procedure that requires less man-hours, offering a simpler process at reduced cost. You will be constantly updated throughout your methodology, preventing any errors when manufacturing.
