Improve Accuracy
Position parts precisely the first time with Real-Time graphical feedback and build arrows.
BuildIT Software has workflows specifically designed to help you quickly and easily assemble manufactured parts with micrometer accuracy. Use it for large volume assembly applications such as airframe assembly and part positioning, tooling and jig building, or smaller scale manufacturing assembly applications. Perform metrology assisted assembly and position parts accurately with numerical and graphical feedback of real-time deviations directly from your portable measurement device.
Save time and standardize your operations with metrology automation. Use BuildIT’s configurable automation to help your team perform repetitive workflows in a streamlined and scalable manner. Simply record an assembly workflow and play it back, or create a more robust automation with advanced conditional statements and variables.

Let our algorithms do the heavy lifting for you: Robust features such as our Best-Fit Alignment work out-of-the-box with the click of a button.
BuildIT enables quick and easy dimensional inspection of manufactured parts and assemblies for tool building, assembly, alignment, process automation, reverse engineering and quality control. With both numerical and graphical feedback of real-time deviations, BuildIT allows users to position parts with micrometer accuracy for high-precision assembly and alignment applications. The advanced point cloud processing and new STL mesh generation features expand BuildIT’s capabilities to reverse engineering applications such as 3D printing, rapid prototyping and CFD analysis.
Key features include CAD-to-part inspection, GD&T analysis, creation of custom automated processes and generation of extensive reports. The software interfaces in real-time with a variety of probing and scanning measurement devices such as measurement arms, laser trackers, photogrammetry, laser scanners and/or total stations, from all major hardware vendors, including FARO, Leica, Romer, API, AICON, Kreon and Creaform. It directly reads 3D CAD files from native (CATIA®, NX, Parasolid, CREO(Pro/E), Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) or neutral formats (IGES, STEP, SAT) for model-based inspection and assembly.

“We selected BuildIT to improve our production process, and they exceeded our expectations. BuildIT worked alongside us in a very collaborative way to fully understand our process. Through them, we redefined our measurement process and dimensional quality control, they helped us identify manufacturing issues and solve them quickly, and they helped reduce inspection time by 80%.”
“Build!IT is much more than point collection and alignment. It is a powerful, simple to use package that has given me functionality in all the different areas of my business. And whenever I have questions or need support, I always get red carpet service from the team at BuildIT.”
“Using Build!IT, our existing laser trackers have become much more efficient tools allowing the operators to work directly in 3D on the actual design geometry. Savings of up to 50% in design hours have been seen on certain tool types.”
