Job Description

BuildIT, an engineering software and services company, is looking for an Account Executive. This role involves sales of solutions comprised of software and services to resolve complex business and engineering problems. The ideal candidate will be highly innovative and entrepreneurial, have experience and a proven track record of consultative selling of services and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

The account executive will be responsible and accountable for a wide range of activities, including:

  • Selling of BuildIT software solutions;
  • Identifying sales opportunities;
  • Achieving assigned sales targets;
  • Managing existing customer base, growing the territory and developing customer relationships;
  • Demonstrating the company’s added-value through presentations, proposals and quotes uniquely positioned to customer needs;
  • Working in close collaboration with the company’s technical teams to identify ROI and develop a business case;
  • Maintaining correct and up-to-date account and opportunity strategic information in CRM.

Required Skills:

  • Essential: Fully proficient in English
  • Essential: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Essential: Willingness and availability to travel
  • Essential: Professional, result oriented, self-motivated and driven to develop new business and opportunities
  • Essential: Self-aware, strong business ethics, with a natural ability and motivation to build strong customer relationships
  • Important: Technical sales experience, complex sales process
  • Important: Proven track record in direct sales of technical solutions
  • Asset: Metrology experience and market understanding
  • Asset: Manufacturing experience

General Criteria:

  • Essential: University Degree in Engineering or related fields
